New Beginnings

I've been contemplating blogging for a while now. I love writing and I can best unwind my thoughts and make decisions when I articulate whatever I am thinking about so blogging makes perfect sense. This blog, though on the internet, will serve as an avenue for me to vent and wrestle with God, to voice my thoughts without reserve, so if there are readers, I must warn that I do not write to please them.

Lately my favorite song is Take My Life, an old hymn. The more that I turn the words over in my mind, the more that it becomes the prayer of my life. I want God to do extraordinary things through me. I want to take the road less traveled (Robert Frost) and truly consecrate my life to Him. I want to be different for Him and only for Him. That is my prayer and the cry of my heart.

I pray that this blog is the beginning of a great period of growth and revelation. I pray that this time would be a beginning to a deeper relationship with God and a greater desire to love and serve Him. So here's to new beginnings.
